Rest, revitalise and reflect. We have chosen facilities to accommodate all ages and all needs. Never more than a couple minutes walk from your pitch. Focus on the adventure, home from home.
Accessibility
We have a designated shower and toilet block with accessible features including step free, wet room with grab rails. We also provide a changing table with baby bath so that families have all they need no matter what age requires extra support.
Shower & Toilets
Our brand new shower and toilet blocks are situated behind the pitch line within a couple minutes walk from each pitch. Close enough for a dip in the sea and a hot shower straight after.
Recycling & Refuse
Please use our designated refuse points. Our recycling bins will be clearly marked. We live in a fragile landscape so please take care to do your part too.
Hotel & Pub
The Inn at Port nan Gael is a welcome break from the adventure life. There is a private path for campers go take directly between the site and the hotel entrance. Enjoy a hearty meal with your favourite tipple, meet for a dram, or take your book to enjoy a coffee. This rustic pub has a colourful history so be sure to ask the locals for their take on the stories of the Clansman.
Pot Wash & Outside Taps
Our pot wash facility has just been built and we have two large sinks for campers to use in a sheltered area. There are outside taps for drinking water provided at either side of the campsite also, along the one way system.
Waste Disposal Points
Chemical Dumping station is available at the rear of the site. This is for guests of Port nan Gael campsite as well as running a drive through service for visiting vehicles. Port nan Gael have a responsibility not just to the local village but to the wider island to provide services that protect our environment.
